Explore the art of watercolor painting in a structured yet welcoming learning environment. Our watercolor painting classes are thoughtfully designed for students (12 years old+) lifelong learners and artists of all experience levels, offering clear instruction, hands-on practice, and individual guidance to help you build artistic confidence and skill.

Participants will develop a strong foundation in watercolor techniques while learning to work with color, transparency, and composition. Each session encourages creative growth while allowing students to progress at their own pace.

What You’ll Learn

• Core watercolor techniques and brush handling
• Color mixing, blending, and layering
• Creating depth, light, and movement

Class Information

• Professional Painting Instructor Rate: $50 per class
• Full class is 2 hours long and you are welcome to stay for an extra hour if needed working on your painting at the same rate.
• Skill Level: Beginner to advanced
• Format: Guided instruction with individualized feedback. Flexible learning and painting pedagogy Teaching for Artistic Behavior (TAB) and Inclusive Communication and creative process in Universal Design for Learning (UDL)

Art Materials Available

• For your convenience, a selection of watercolor art materials are available (including paints, brushes, and watercolor paper) available for purchase during class. Students are also welcome to bring their own supplies.
